Plugging in the computer Before you plug your Macintosh into a wall socket, carefully read all the installation instructions in Chapter 1. Connecting the monitor cable After you plug in the monitor’s power cord, you connect the monitor cable to the computer’s monitor port. Your computer has two monitor ports: a standard monitor port, and a high-density monitor port for AudioVision monitors.
