2 2 Chapter 2 Getting Started This chapter explains how to access EDS-726 for the first time. There are three ways to access the switch: serial console, Telnet console, and web browser. EDS-726 Series User’s Manual Featured Functions Accessible IP Moxa EDS-726 uses an IP address-based filtering method to control access to EDS-726 units. Accessible IP Settings allows you to add or remove “Legal” remote host IP addresses to prevent unauthorized access. Access to EDS-726 is controlled by IP address.
