Clamp a ferrite clamp around the cable. 2. Connect the 25-foot Network Cable to the LAN jack on the phone. 3. Setting Up the Polycom VVX 1500 D Phone Modifying Phone’s Configuration Using the Web Interface You can make changes to the phone’s configuration through the web interface to the phone. The factory default username and password for the web interface is Polycom and 456 respectively (the username is case sensitive). A web page similar to the one shown below appears. d Make the desired configuration changes. For example, verify that H.323 Protocol is enabled. e Select the Submit button. The phone will reboot.
