HOW TO SETUP YOUR NEW HITACHI PLASMA DISPLAY TELEVISION ATTACH THE SPEAKER SYSTEM TO THE MONITOR. CAUTION: Make sure the monitor power is switched off (with the standby/ receive lamp switched off or red) before you connect or disconnect the speaker cables. 1. FIRST TIME USE HOOKUP CABLES Most video/audio connections between components can be made with shielded video and audio cables that have phono connectors. For best performance, video cables should use 75-Ohm coaxial shielded wire. Cables can be purchased from most stores that sell audio/video products. ANTENNA CONNECTIONS TO REAR PANEL JACKS VHF (75-Ohm) antenna/CATV (Cable TV) When using a 75-Ohm coaxial cable system, connect the outdoor antenna or CATV coaxial cable to the ANT (75-Ohm) terminal.
