Never pick up or carry the mower while the engine is running. Never lift the rear deflector while the engine is running. Never touch the exhaust/exhaust guard or cooling fins when the engine is hot. The engine must be filled with the correct grade of oil and petrol before starting the engine. Oil Type Always use high quality detergent oil classified SAE 30 oil. Never use additives with recommended oil. To prolong the life of your engine it is important that the oil is changed after the first 5 hours of use - refer to ‘Maintenance
