The engine must be filled with the correct grade of oil and petrol before starting. Oil Type FILLER CAP/DIPSTICK Always use high quality detergent oil classified SAE 10W-30. Hold the handlebar together with the engine stop lever, place your foot on the deck and tilt the mower towards you. This will take the load off the engine making it easier to start.
