ENGLISH 3 Configure Wireless Settings Use this section to configure the DMA-1000W’s wireless settings if you want to use a wireless connection, otherwise skip to Section 4. Use the remote control to navigate and configure the menus (see page 17 for a figure of the remote control). Do one of the following to configure the wireless settings. 1 Have the DMA-1000W scan for the wireless network (see section 3.1). 2 Manually configure the wireless settings (refer to the User’s Guide for details). 3

If the DMA-1000W does not get an IP address automatically, it uses Auto-IP to assign itself an IP address. If your computer is also set to get an IP address automatically, the computer and the DMA-1000W will be able to communicate.
