Operation design Accessing the management functions To dial your personal mailbox, proceed as follows: 1. Dial the user group number or DDI number of your voice mail system. 2. Ensure that your telephone is sending DTMF dialling signals. If necessary you can activate the Transparent/DTMF mode by pressing and holding the * key or by pressing the Foxkey. 3. Voice menus Options: password It is recommended that you prevent unauthorised access to your mailbox by selecting a personal password. A password consists of a four-digit number using the digits 0 to 9. The DTMF dialling signals * and # cannot be used. Voice menus Options: language The AVS Voice Mail System gives you a choice of three system languages. The first language is the default language. You can change the default language for your mailbox. After doing so, system messages are spoken in the newly selected lan- guage.
