Programming Guide
The 5BLCR is designed to work with most Audiovox two way remote start unit
and may be programmed differently for other models. For the APS-55TW, the
recommended transceiver programming is shown below.
Note: A total of 4 transmitters may be programmed into any receiver channel.

As mentioned above, the program mode refers to a Keyless Entry unit which has no sounding device, you will note mention of a long chirp from the siren. This reference is for those who program this transmitter into a security system or into a unit with a sounding device. NOTE: If the program switch is operated again, the circuit will recycle through the program mode. In other words, press 1 time to access the lock function, 2 times to access the unlock function, 3 times to access the start function. When programming is complete, simply turn off the ignition switch to exit the program mode. 2 Enter the transmitter program mode. Using any transmitter button press and hold until a long chirp is heard. If a single chirp or multiple chirps, (up to 7 chirps), are heard, the unit is indicating that the transmitter has already been programmed elsewhere in the receiver. Release the transmitter button and within 5 seconds press and hold until a long chirp is heard. This action forces the unit to erase all stored codes of that transmitter. 3. Remove the discharged battery, making note of the location of the + and - contacts shown, and replace with a new type alkaline 1.5 volt AAA Battery. 4.
