Chapter 1 Introduction EB1004 BAK is a stand-alone, non-PC based DVR unit that provides real-time monitoring and digital recording of surveillance video. 1.4 Setting Up the DVR Unit 1.4.1 Installing Hard Drives Before you install hard drives, please adjust the jumpers’ setting according to the instructions on your hard disk label. The DVR unit allows you to install up to two hard drives (a master and slave drive). Install one hard disk in a removable hard disk drawer as HDD A and the other hard disk inside DVR unit as HDD B.
